In 1898, the chemist Hans Schwarzkopf opens a small perfume department at his pharmacy in Berlin. A customer approached Mr. Schwarzkopf, asking if he could order a powder shampoo. This had the customer namely, seen in the United Kingdom. Hans Schwarzkopf decided not to order the product, but to develop it yourself. In 1904 Schwarzkopf also managed to bring the first, water-soluble powder shampoo on the market.
The logo with the black head Schwarzkopf was conceived and begin to supply other pharmacies in Berlin. Hans Schwarzkopf wants to grow and go international on the road.
In 1927 Schwarzkopf brings the first liquid shampoo to the market and they should submit a hairdressing academy.
